Trujillo has been named one of "The most beautiful villages of Spain" for being one of the most tourist towns of the province of Cáceres in addition to the unique architecture, maintaining their holidays, traditions and customs.

Y finalmente tras su azarosa vida cuando Isabel divisó en la lejanía la silueta de la Alhambra, en Andalucía,  no pudo imaginarse en ningún momento  la belleza incomparable que la esperaba cuando la tomara. Nada tendría que ver con los campos de Castilla donde había librado mil batallas y residido en austeros castillo medievales. La sutilidad de los encajes de los artistas y arquitectos árabes habían creado un lugar de ensueño hecho para el disfrute de los sentidos y de la vida.
