Fountains Abbey

En   Yorkshire del Norte de se encuentra Fountains Abbey una de las más bellas y misteriosas ruinas de Inglaterra. Esta es una de la más grandes y mejor conservadas abadías cistercienses de Inglaterra.

In North Yorshire Fountains Abbey is one of the most beautiful and mysterious ruins of England. This abbey is one of the largest and best preserved Cistercian abbeys in England.

Bath

Bath es una preciosa ciudad balneario situada en el sudoeste de Inglaterra que fue fundada como un complejo termal por los romanos. Estos construyeron el complejo y un templo en las colinas adyacentes en el valle del río Avon, alrededor de la fuente de las aguas termales. Tiempo después, se popularizó por sus aguas termales durante la Época Georgiana, lo cual propició una gran expansión y dejó un reconocido legado arquitectónico georgiano para cuya construcción se utilizó piedra de Bath.

Bath is a beautiful spa city located in southwest England. It was founded as a spa resort by the Romans. They built the resort and a temple in the hills, in the valley of the River Avon, near the source of the hot springs. Later, it became popular for its thermal waters during the Georgian Era, which led to a great expansion and left a renowned Georgian architectural legacy for which construction Bath stone was used.

Salisbury

En 1221 se inició la construcción de la catedral. El cuerpo principal se completó en solo 38 años y es una obra maestra de la arquitectura inglesa gótica. La aguja de 123 metros de alto fue construida más tarde y es la más alta de toda Inglaterra. En medio de la inmensa pradera de césped que la circunda parece que toca el cielo.

In 1221 the construction of the cathedral was begun. The main body was completed in only 38 years and is a masterpiece of English Gothic architecture. The needle is 123 meters high was built later and is the tallest in England. In the middle of the vast prairie grass that surrounds it seems that touch the sky.

Stonehenge  es un monumento megalítico Patrimonio de la Humanidad, tipo crómlech, alineado con los movimientos del sol, de finales del neolítico. Está situado cerca de Amesbury, en el condado de Wiltshire, Inglaterra, a unos quince kilómetros al norte de Salisbury. Las piedras fueron levantadas entre 3.100 a.c y 2.500 a.c años por un sofisticado pueblo prehistórico. 

Stonehenge is a megalithic monument World Heritage, cromlech type, aligned with the movements of the sun, from the late Neolithic. It is located near Amesbury in Wiltshire, England, about ten miles north of Salisbury. The stones were erected between 3,100 BC and 2,500 BC years by sophisticated prehistoric people.
