Stratford-upon-Avon es un municipio situado en Warwickshires donde nació y murió Williams Shakespeare. Es un lugar turístico donde todo está dedicado al mayor escritor de habla inglesa de todos los tiempos.

En   Yorkshire del Norte de se encuentra Fountains Abbey una de las más bellas y misteriosas ruinas de Inglaterra. Esta es una de la más grandes y mejor conservadas abadías cistercienses de Inglaterra.

In North Yorshire Fountains Abbey is one of the most beautiful and mysterious ruins of England. This abbey is one of the largest and best preserved Cistercian abbeys in England.

Bath es una preciosa ciudad balneario situada en el sudoeste de Inglaterra que fue fundada como un complejo termal por los romanos. Estos construyeron el complejo y un templo en las colinas adyacentes en el valle del río Avon, alrededor de la fuente de las aguas termales. Tiempo después, se popularizó por sus aguas termales durante la Época Georgiana, lo cual propició una gran expansión y dejó un reconocido legado arquitectónico georgiano para cuya construcción se utilizó piedra de Bath.

Bath is a beautiful spa city located in southwest England. It was founded as a spa resort by the Romans. They built the resort and a temple in the hills, in the valley of the River Avon, near the source of the hot springs. Later, it became popular for its thermal waters during the Georgian Era, which led to a great expansion and left a renowned Georgian architectural legacy for which construction Bath stone was used.

Salisbury


En 1221 se inició la construcción de la catedral. El cuerpo principal se completó en solo 38 años y es una obra maestra de la arquitectura inglesa gótica. La aguja de 123 metros de alto fue construida más tarde y es la más alta de toda Inglaterra. En medio de la inmensa pradera de césped que la circunda parece que toca el cielo.

El príncipe de Gales es, desde 1301, el título del heredero de los monarcas británicos. La tradición la inició Eduardo I de Inglaterra en 1301 que dio este título a su hijo, el príncipe Eduardo (posteriormente Eduardo II de Inglaterra) después de la anexión del País de Gales por Inglaterra, a través del Estatuto de Rhuddlan.

Su nombre de debe a que estaba en el camino a la cercana de Villa de Alcalà de Henares cuando se construyó en 1.178.

Aquellos veteranos trenes de vapor transportaron a nuestros abuelos y bisabuelos abriendo rutas y extendiendo el progreso y el comercio a través de todo el país, llenando de carbonilla los ojos de los pasajeros, y haciendo que se despeinaran sus cabellos cuando se asomaban por las ventanillas y disfrutaban de la fulgurante velocidad de 60 kilómetros por hora... "¡¡ niño no te acerques cuando pase el tren que te absorbe a su paso...!!"
